Great for the beginner

This is a good pickup for the introduction of the animation set that AVA books has to offer. There are brief projects to try throughout the series, and more hints on approaching the career in obtaining a masterful grasp of the craft. The whole series is more about opening one's mind to a new way of thinking that is relevant to the field of animation. The series does provide a plentiful amount of gems that are not in any other books on the subject, and it also covers some reiterations, yet at times they are more reinterpretations. The picture qualities in all of these provide excellent sources to extrapolate inspiration and references.
